Nexus

A financial platform rebuilt around real human decisions.

Nexus had powerful technology and a confusing product. We gave it a clear story, a calm interface and a foundation ready to scale.

41%faster completion of key account tasks
2.3×increase in qualified product enquiries
68reusable components in one design system

Powerful underneath. Painful on top.

Nexus had grown quickly. Features had been added by different teams at different times, leaving customers to navigate inconsistent language, dense tables and too many competing actions.

The goal was bigger than a visual refresh: make the core experience easier to understand without flattening the product’s sophistication.

Design the decision, not the dashboard.

We mapped the moments where customers needed confidence—reviewing performance, spotting change and taking action. That shifted the interface from a collection of features to a sequence of meaningful decisions.

A new visual system used clear hierarchy, purposeful colour and plain language. Flexible components allowed the internal team to extend the platform without rebuilding the experience each time.

Less searching. More doing.

The rebuilt platform launched across web and tablet with a unified component library, faster page performance and a simplified navigation model.

Customers completed critical flows more quickly, while Nexus gained a product foundation its own team could confidently evolve.

Three shifts

What changed.

01

One clear system

Shared patterns replaced fragmented screens and shortened design-to-build time.

02

Meaningful signals

Colour and motion now guide attention instead of adding visual noise.

03

Plain language

Technical labels became direct prompts customers could act on with confidence.
